Day 2 at home, of course, time to shop with my mum. I'd forgotten how good she really is at shopping!
It was an extremely successful morning which required a break, this was lunch at Café Rouge in Southampton. The Café is on the mezzanine floor. Whilst my mum organised the food I sat daydreaming and watching the people below. It was fascinating to watch people's interaction with one another. One couple on the far side were too interested in their phones to even look up and speak. Behind them a group of girls were all sat eating a KFC and each were looking in different directions. No interaction from any of them. However, opposite to them, were two women (probably in their mid 30's) chatting away and listening to each other, showing respect and continuing to keep the conversation flowing. There is always the young man sat alone by himself, eating a burrito, perhaps reminiscing on what had happened during the day, or the night before. Next to him was another couple, far too interested with their phones to interact with one another. They were next to a mother and daughter, who were talking so loudly, that I think the couple were eaves dropping into their conversation.
For me, whether I am with my mum, boyfriend, friend etc. I would always be looked on as the chatty one.
